Can any one suggest a place to find cotton candy sugar on long island? It will be used just for home use so I do not need it in bulk. I can order it online but with the cost of shipping it is just not worth it.
Try a restaurant supply store that is open to the public. Also check w/ rental places (the ones that rent margarita machines and things like that) if they rent cotton candy machines they will have the sugar

Popobawa is variously described as either a ghost or ogre with gigantic bat wings and a giant penis. At times he is simply known as "Imran". His presence is usually announced by the sound of scraping claws on their roof and a sharp, pungent smell. Different from other incubus legends, Popobawa primarily attacks men and only in their own beds, resulting in many men sleeping outside in streets or on porches after recent reported attacks. He attacks men as they sleep, overpowering them, holding their face to the floor and sodomizing them for up to an hour. People who claim to be victims of Popobawa are mostly poorer residents on the island of Pemba, though other reports have also come from other islands and coastal Tanzania. The victims are threatened with repeated, and longer, sodomizations if they do not let their friends and neighbors know of their experience.
KEEP IN MIND: The victims are threatened with repeated, and longer, sodomizations if they do not let their friends and neighbors know of their experience.
If you tell, then he’ll never come back.
You sound like a very fun guy!

I’ve seen a few different sources (from a YouTube video to an FSU law school webpage) that all say that pretty much all of the coastal beach in Florida is "public". Is this true? If so, how can this be, you can see people build houses right on the coast up to the sand. Does this mean the sand behind their homes is still regarded as "public" beach?
I’m confused especially because I come from Long Island, NY, and beach land was treated pretty differently there….there were a few public state and county parks along the shore, but aside from that, there were definitely private access-restricted beaches and landowners that owned their own beaches…really unless you were in a "park" of some sort (Jones Beach SP, Robert Moses SP, etc…), it wasn’t public land…
The real reason I ask is because I’m just looking for a nice, preferably secluded/undeveloped beach in northeast FL to enjoy and I haven’t really seen any established "parks" where you go to the beach, like I said, unlike how it was in my hometown…Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks for all the responses.
So, does anyone know any beaches in northern Florida (but not the panhandle…I’m in Gainesville so preferably ~2 hours max from there) that are secluded, pretty, and natural? Preferably with a pier of some sort..
I’m not sure, but I think all beaches should be public. I really liked Siesta Key while I was down in FL!

Will the housing market in Long Island ever fall to rates 5+ years ago? It’s slowly decreasing now, but where do you think the bottom line will fall?
If you are talking about interest rates then it you are talking about a whole new ball game. The interest rates are set by economic factors (check the 10 yr teasury note yield, this a great indicator of mortgage rate trends). Prices in Long Island are leveling off in most areas. There are defintely areas that will see little to no decrease due to the desirability of the area such as the Hamptoms and higher end neighborhoods. If you are looking to purchase a new home then I would wait on the sidelines unless you see a great deal. Just remember new homes set the high-end of the market in your neighborhood. I would analyze current homes for sale and sold properties preferably new construction to get a feel of what’s going on in the market. If there is a glutton of unsold new construction and re-sale homes on the market I would try and negotiate a much lower price than asking unless it is already a steal. In my opinion now is the time to buy because you have many options to chose from. I feel we are approaching the bottom of the market.

state farm refused to renew my homeowners insurance. they told me i live with 1000 feet of coastal waters. i’m on the north shore of long island, for goodness sake, it’s not the south shore. further, my house sits near the top of a summit. i called around and allstate and geico have also refused to insure our home. finally, i contacted the NY Underwriters Insurance but they don’t cover theft, i can get fire insurance through state farm as long as i have NYUI as my primary carrier but they won’t cover theft either. what can i do?
