Nome, ALaska

The tundra is gorgeous in the summer, springy and spongey to walk and hike on. The sun is high in the sky almost 24 hours a day (in summer). There are wild musk oxen that roam the tundra hills. Along the shore of the Bering Sea, you can find beautiful stones and smooth sea glass... and, so say the panners, sometimes bits of gold (remniscient of the famed Gold Rush that gave Nome its start).

The climate is frost-bite cold in the winter and positively perfect in the summer. The people are friendly and fun-loving. The local hospital has parking for ATV's as well as regular parking... No roads from outside cities lead into Nome. The only way to get there is by ship or by air... there are 300 miles of roads, however that connect local villages to Nome... the only way to traverse thes in the winter is by dogsled or snowmobile.

I have been there in early srping (which is pretty much still rather wintry) and in the heart of summer, when I worked there part-time.

It is my goal to retire there.
References :
The Philippines has over 7,000 islands, but if you want to skip the usual tourist beaches, your best bet here would be Amanpulo in Palawan and the more obscure beaches in Bohol and Camiguin islands. The accommodations might be pricey, but airfare and the food are cheap so its worth it. :)

but if you do go, its also worth it to go to Boracay on off-season. (as long as there's no rains)
References :
There's loads of "undiscovered" places. I recently made a list about such places on my website, you will find it at the news article of June 30th, I'll give you a link to it.

I find Croatia (with a beautiful Adriatic coastline) a beautiful "undiscovered" place for example. I hope the link helps, and feel free to browse the country information on the website!
References :
http://www.travelapproved.com/news.php?mom=2 - news

Travel destinations?
I am making a list of some places that I want to travel to when I am old enough to earn enough money to travel to these places. But my parents have taken me to many famous cities around the world like Paris, Rome, and Venice. I want to find somewhere that nobody really knows about and has no tourists but is really beautiful. Anything you can find would be greatly appreciated.

Put a few charcoal like you use in the grill inside it and close it up for a week or two. Charcoal works wonders on eliminating smell. Many filters use charcoal.
