Whats its like? I sometimes pictured it as a coastal homes areas or drug infested or boring basically
most native manhatanites I knew cant be bothered about long island. Been to Queens , Brooklyn ..bronx thats all and Jersey. Never even been to Li or further up new england area but I am work in Europe , New Zealand, South Africa and Brazil

if u live in soho how come u dont know much about long island….wow are you even a native
anyway.
it depends what area of long island your talking about, but long island itself is very peaceful and have like malls and stuff its very surburban. there are coastal homes which are quite expensive. you must have a car to travel though. one LIRR is expensive and its very limited ( direction).

just moved away from the island 4 yrs ago
i liked it there are some nice really rich areas and there are some really nasty areas where you dont want to end up but you need to be a little more specific as to where.
