I’m from Long Island,NY and the temperatures are still in the 70’s and 80’s. But the trees still manage to change colours. Is it due to lack of rain. I’ve never heard of leaves changing in Coastal Southern California when our temperatures have ben the same if not warmer than them. Is it due to lack of rain. The leaves don’t change in Florida in December when temepratures start to cool off. Why are they still changing.
It’s been getting down into the 60’s at night. I still need my air conditioner.
The leaves change due to the change in temperature. You may think oh it’s getting up to 70 and 80 but how cold does it get at night compared to the summer?
Also the leaves change all over the place I was in virginia a week ago and the leaves were changing there as well. The trees in florida that have those types of leaves have seasons as well.
