You can check the web site FOR SALE BY OWNER--(forsalebyowner.com). I assume you want to avoid the real estate commissions. Marketing yourself can be costly also, and I guess the best way these days is to get those signs printed up (do not write them yourself--they look very unprofessional), that stick in the ground. You have seen them for political candidates, businesses, & open houses. Stick them up with a phone # ( I WOULD SUGGEST NOT YOUR HOME #) and you will get calls. If you do not want a real-estate agent to call you, mention that on your sign.
