I’m looking for the best recipe for Long Island Iced Tea?
Author: admin / Category: long island homesHad one once in a club even though it’s really expensive… And it was amazing! I’d like to do them at home though…
What is sour mix exactly?
1/2 oz each of vodka, gin, rum, tequila and triple sec.
1 oz of sour mix
splash of cola.
sour mix is a mixture of lemon juice and sugar water. you can buy bottles of it in the mixer section of the grocery or liquor store. it may be called "whisky sour mix" but it is the same thing.

Well…Long Island Iced Teas are expensive to buy out at a bar/club…however, it’s also expensive to make at home because there are so many different types of alcohol inside. It’s an investment though and each bottle will last you a long time, so personally I think it’s worth it!
Some advice regarding long island iced teas is that you should never buy the premixed iced tea mixes…they are terrible, especially if you’re used to a real one!
Here’s a link to a great recipe…

Sour mix is simply lime juice or lemon juice mixed with a simple syrup!
