In New York State, Long Island, what is the weekly take home pay for a salary of $70,000 a year?

I work in Queens, no Union dues. Don’t think I should pay City tax because I live on L.I., right?
2 deductions, no health benefits, work in Queens, but I shouldn’t be paying City taxes, right? Boss doesn’t indicate on paycheck what he’s taking out in taxes.

really no way to answer that…it depends on taxes taken out, how many deductions, how many dependents, how much medical insurance costs…

    Added to the first answer is, are you also working in the city and paying that third tax? Union dues? contributions to health plan. the list is endless. Figure 49k take home.
