Recently out on Long Island there was a raid on a home in which the cops had search warrants to search?
Author: admin / Category: long island homesthe home because there were four illegal immigrants giving that address, with warrants out for their arrest. Everything went peacefully, no one was hurt,et cetera. The local newspaper printed the article with the slant that this should not have been done because the children living in the home are now without their fathers.
I have two questions, because I don’t view it with the same slant the journalist wrote it.
My opinion is not that the cops did not put the kids in jeopardy but that the illegal aliens put their own kids in jeopardy, much like when a drug dealer’s home is raided, the drug dealer is arrested and the kids get sent to social services. While I have sympathy, obviously, for the children, I do blame the drug dealing parents for this, not the cops. In the same respect, I blame the illegal aliens for this situation, not the cops. Why does the local paper seem to blame the ICE agents? Is this an example of, in your opinion, a bias in the way the news is reported?

And by risking their lives to promise they can break the law and get away with it. How many children have they made fatherless back in Mexico by these these lies and false promises and the mothers now with no food to feed these children.

The media is liberal. Period. Anything BUT liberal is villified in the media. Period.
Do I pay much attention to the media? Nope.
Why get any more upset by their lies than one has to?

I too feel bad for the children and imagrants in general. I don’t think our country can handle anymore. In a perfect world everyone crossing a border or comming in from another country would get papers and as long as they where working, paying taxes, and not getting into trouble they would be able to stay. But, we don’t live in a perfect world and what is illegal is illegal and the police must do their job. So, I agree with you and am glad to hear no one was hurt (well, except the children emotionally.)

this is stupid because it’s about paying taxes and nothing else
the Gov’t wants there tax money and if you do not have ss# or work for someone who pays cash their not getting there money
most of our politicians have illegals working for them
these are just hard working people tryin to better there life
and I think the Gov’t ought to focus on other issue in our country that are more important
like energy alt and education paying our teachers more money
we can find billions for war but not enough money for teachers that’s a real problem

Was it an actual news article, or was it an opinion piece?
*******If it was supposed to be hard news, then yes indeed it is a very biased piece that shouldn’t have been printed with the opinions of the reporter. If the reporter was quoting family members or social workers, that’s a different story. Quotes are part of hard news.

You have just made a perfect example of the liberal media bias. We should have just left the four illegals in the house. The police had warrants for their arrests so I guess they had committed a felony or two since they came to this country. As far as the children go, I am fairly certain that the police had the information about them and took all necessary precautions to ensure their safety. You are quite right in saying it was not the police who endangered the children but the illegals.

The parents are criminals-they had arrest warrants. They were endangering their children and all of us. Illegal or a citizen same difference they all need to be off the streets. It is not just about the taxes it is about breaking the law period.
