What do you think Long Island would look like in 25 years?

I think it will be mostly upper middle class and rich. But there will be several clusters of black and immigrant communities.

I think the average 3 bedroom home in Nassau and Western Suffolk County will cost $700,000.

Sunrise Highway and the LIE will be more crowded than they alraedy are. I think homes will be jammed up on to properties like in Queens.

What do you think it will be like?

I think areas like Wyandanch, Bellport, Roosevelt, Hempstead and other similar communities will have mini-mansions. There will be little open space.
I think western Suffolk and Nassau will start to resmeble Queens, well, atleast the western parts.
Excuse me, young man, where are your parents?

Shouldn’t you be being supervised?

The North Shore will stay very rich, the South Shore will be rich. The middle of the Island will be a slum. The worst of it will be in Nassau. The middle of Suffolk will be white trash.

The middle class will be leaving LI in greater numbers than they are now.

    I think it’s going to be very different, more upper class rich people and a lot more people will discover its beauty so it will be more crowded =[

    It all depends on how much more taxes are added before Long Island revolt.

    I think they’ll finally build a bridge from Orient Pt to Saybrook and make Southern Connecticut a suburb of LI.
